Celebrating 20 Years of Customer Relationships

Celebrating 20 Years of Customer Relationships

This July marks 20 years since Todd purchased Creative Sign, and the Sign Nerds are excited to celebrate 20 years of customer relationships.

The below video shows just some of the amazing customers we’ve had the privilege to serve over the last 20 years, but we’d like to thank ALL of the customers that have put their trust in Creative Sign!

In 2003, the majority of our projects were semi-truck lettering.  Slowly but surely, Todd built up our customer base by building up our reputation for taking care of our customers.  He stood behind his team and product by offering a better warranty than the competition.

By 2011, Todd brought Sign Consultant Kelli Lax on board, and with her, a whole new level of customer.  Projects like the Menominee Casino and Oneida Casino pylons showed off our in-house fabrication skills, and amazing customers like Subway and Goodwill Industries brought us so much repeat work that we needed to expand our team to accommodate all the interior and exterior signage, window and wall graphics, channel letters, and vehicle wraps we were doing.

As our family of Sign Consultants and Project Managers have grown, the list of excellent customer relationships we are fortunate enough to maintain has grown dramatically.  Again, thank you to each and every one of you that has put your trust in our Creative Sign team for your signage needs!  You have made us what we are today!

Meet our sign professionals

Rockstar of the Quarter: Alec Slempkes

Rockstar of the Quarter: Alec Slempkes

And Creative Sign Rockstar of the Quarter goes to…. Alec Slempkes!

Position:  Print & Graphics Technician

Trait of Extreme Awesomeness:  Equality

What his team says about him:

“Alec is great at what he does and is an amazing person to be around.  He’s always helpful and happy to do it.  He’s very intuitive with what he can accomplish with his machine and it always looks amazing.”

“I admire Alec for his commitment to his work and his ability to tackle anything thrown at him.”

Alec joined Creative Sign in 2021 as a Graphics Technician, quickly becoming a go-to employee for higher profile interior install projects of graphics and ADA signage.  In 2022 he became head printer on our flatbed.  Since taking on his new role he has explored what’s possible with direct print ADA, raised textures, and so much more!

Congrats, Alec!  Thank you for all you do for our team!

Rockstar of the Quarter: Tracy Burkel

Rockstar of the Quarter: Tracy Burkel

And Creative Sign Rockstar of the Quarter goes to…. Tracy Burkel!

Position:  Senior Project Manager

Trait of Extreme Awesomeness:  Identity

What her co-worker has said about her:  “Tracy is truly a joy to be around and do work for.  Her always appreciative words make me want to strive to do better whenever I am working with her.  She’s professional, thorough and always willing to answer questions.”

Tracy joined the Creative Sign team in May of 2016 when Creative Sign was in a time of growth and transition.  We were in the midst of expanding our building and staff to accommodate our large increase in customers and projects.  Tracy’s ability to balance many duties and sign packages at once made her an immediate help in managing ADA jobs in that expanding department.  As the ADA Department grew (largely due to Tracy’s awesome customer service and methodical handling of projects), Tracy was able to bring new and exciting prospects to Creative Sign.  Her hard work, extremely friendly personality, and outstanding organization even landed her on Creative Sign’s Wall of Fame in 2019 and 2020 for sales over $500k and $750k.

Tracy is fearless in tackling any project and dedicated to giving our customers the best in quality and service.  For these reasons, Tracy is the perfect Creative Sign teammate to represent the trait of Identity.  She is a Creative Sign ambassador.

Congrats, Tracy!  Like your fellow Sign Nerd said, “Tracy is long overdue for the Rockstar Award!!!”

Happily Ever After Animal Shelter Sign Dedication

Happily Ever After Animal Shelter Sign Dedication

We are proud to be apart of so many great things that happen at animal shelters Happily Ever After (HEA). We previously donated signage at their Green Bay location, and are honored to have been apart of another donation at their Clintonville location. Their newest signage was donated by our very own Sign Consultant Kelli Lax, on behalf of Creative Sign Company, to honor volunteer Dean Ekberg as he battles stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Dean is in our thoughts as he undergoes more treatment for his cancer, but his legacy is now available for all to see who visit Happily Ever After.

Ear Saver Donations Surpass 13,000!

Ear Saver Donations Surpass 13,000!

Creative Sign is proud to say we’ve produced and now donated over 13,000 of our ear savers!

When Todd’s niece (who is a nurse located in Missouri) first contacted us asking if we could come up with something to relieve the pressure on her ears from wearing her mask at work, we had no idea the need businesses would have for them. Our first attempts were to donate the ear savers to healthcare workers, and when the news stations got ahold of us for a story we were soon to find there were many other businesses that had a need for them as well. We’ve now donated to over 50 hospitals and clinics, nursing homes, hair salons, tattoo parlors and retail workers all across Wisconsin to California, Colorado, Florida and more! The Creative Sign team is honored we were able to take part in something to help others during the Covid 19 Crisis. Please contact us if you are in need of ear savers.

And PLEASE thank an essential worker in your life!

Click on the links below to watch or read the News stories about our donated ear savers! Prior to being on the news we had donated around only 1,000 ear savers, and now have surpassed 13,000. Thanks to WFRV Channel 5 and Fox 11 for the coverage!
